Here's my layout:

A month later...

Yes, it's been a while. Too much fun preparing for retreat and being at retreat.

An interesting business opportunity has presented itself and I have prayed for over a month. I believe God has called me to a different career. But I had to take the path that I am on to get to this point.

I am submitting a prospectus tomorrow to the bank and hopefully have an interview on Wednesday.

Pray for me - wish me luck!

WOW - Worship on Wednesday

WOW - Worship on Wednesday.

Wednesday nights are a little hectic with church activities. I have two hyperactive and very stubborn boys - try teaching music to 50 of these types of kids!! Usually it's no problem, but this semester we are working on a musical. Tonight I found out that I now have much more responsibility than I anticipated.

Pray for myself and the other adults trying to pull this production together!

Volleyball

We came, we saw, we left losers...

Our church team had a battle tonight against the Faith United Methodist (which their initials on the tournament brackets were FU - kinda funny...). Both teams did great, but I thought we coud have done better. Our boys were not playing like theyshould have and let the frustration get to them.

Next week we play @ 6pm. When we win, we play the Faith United Methodist team again. If we win we have to play them AGAIN! 3 volleyball games in a row. We are not young people - we are all over 30!!

Although I see some good activity points coming my way!! I earned 4 tonight!

The Princess

NEVER in my life have I been a princess! As a little girl, I frustrated my mom to no end - no lace, barely get a dress on me and NO PINK!

Since I have started scrapbooking, my pages are mainly boys. I am now embracing pink! The same types of colors just wear after a while.

I went to my first scrapbook retreat this past fall with a bunch of new scrapbook friends. I entered a Fourth of July layout (which Robb hates - cuz he does not have a shirt on & he's acting crazy). I got runner-up for the intermediate division. That equals Princess of the Crop.

I was truly amazed. I don't win much - ever!

Spring retreat is in 12 days - back again with my new buds!

Ethan's Wrestling Injuries

One active little boy + one firm Daddy = injuries (sort of).

Tonight, Ethan is wrestling with his daddy and playing around. The usual grunts and trying to move Daddy's arms and legs are issued from a little boy.

So he gets on Robb's foot and and tries to head butt his knee. (I didn't say he was bright!) He comes back up holding his nose and says. "Why did you let me do that?" I died laughing!!

So he runs out of the living room, into the bathroom. We don't hear him for a few minutes. He trots out with a bandaid across his nose!! I think I snorted that time!
